Mango Policy
We call them Mangos, not CookiesLast updated: June 2026 · Applies to keoly.online and the Keoly AI app
Why Mango? We think "cookie" is a weird name for a tracking file. A mango is better — it's something you actually want. And true to that spirit, we only place the ones you'd actually want us to place.
1. What are Mangos (cookies)?
Mangos (technically: cookies) are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how people use it.
The Keoly AI mobile app does not use browser cookies — it uses local device storage (AsyncStorage / SQLite) for session data. This policy primarily applies to the keoly.online website and the keolyai.lovable.app landing page.
2. The Mangos we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | Essential | Keeps you logged in while you browse. Without it the site can't work. | Session |
| sb-auth-token | Essential | Supabase authentication token — identifies your account securely. | 7 days |
| _analytics | Analytics | Anonymised page-view counts so we know which content is useful. No personal data stored. | 90 days |
| _lang | Essential | Remembers your language preference (EN / ES / FR / DE). | 1 year |
| Third-party advertising | None | We don't use advertising networks. No ad Mangos, ever. | — |
| Social media trackers | None | We don't embed Facebook Pixel, TikTok trackers, or similar. | — |
3. Essential vs optional
Essential Mangos are required for the site and app to function. They cannot be switched off without breaking the experience — login, language preferences, and security tokens fall into this category.
Analytics Mangos are optional. They help us understand how people use Keoly so we can improve it. The data is anonymised — we cannot identify you from it. You can opt out by contacting us or by using your browser's "Do Not Track" setting.
4. How to manage or remove Mangos
You can control and delete cookies in your browser settings at any time:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Deleting essential Mangos will log you out. Deleting analytics Mangos will reset your opt-out preference on the next visit.
For the mobile app, you can clear app data via your device's app settings (Settings → Apps → Keoly AI → Clear Data on Android; or offload/reinstall on iOS).
5. Third-party services
Some pages may load content from third-party services (e.g. YouTube embeds for tutorial videos, or Google Fonts for typography). These services may place their own cookies, which are governed by their own privacy policies. Keoly AI has no control over those cookies.
6. Changes
We may update this Mango Policy as we add new features. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. For significant changes, we will notify users via the app or email.
